For over 40 years, The Boeing Company (“Boeing”) and China have built, extended, and deepened their partnership to promote the growth and development of the Chinese aviation   In furtherance of this partnership, Boeing and Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, (“COMAC”) are partnering to develop a world-class facility (“Project”) in Zhoushan on Zhuijiajian Island in Zhejiang province,

The Project (when approved by government authorities) will have two principal components:  a 737 Completion Center Joint Venture (“JV”), and a separate Boeing-owned 737 Delivery Center (“737 Delivery Center”). The JV will perform interiors installation, painting and certain repair and maintenance, delivery support and other services for 737 MAX aircraft designated for delivery by Boeing to Chinese commercial airlines and lessors who will be taking delivery of their aircraft at the   The JV will be certificated to perform Federal Aviation Administration (“FAA”) Part 145 approved work and will become an integral part of the Boeing 737   When the facility is operating at full production capacity, it is expected that roughly 100 aircraft would qualify for completion and delivery each   The JV and 737 Delivery Center will be a world class facility that will provide a customer experience consistent with Boeing’s newest facilities in the United
